Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th 1996 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora often stylized in uppercase in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, receiving rave reviews from the music blogosphere as well as the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy, by Nat King Cole are among her most renowned covers. Katy Perry, who endorsed the hit song Runaway from her side, gave the song a boost of recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding a piano in her attic and becoming fascinated by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to take up music. Not for an income or to pursue an interest, but to develop. She started writing songs of her own. In addition to Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother urged her to play her music on stage, not so that she could become famous but rather make others aware of how significant that they are, and the impact they can do for the world. When she began playing the piano, she was just 6 years old and was writing her first song by the time she was nine. Her family didn't hear about it until the age of 14. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. She claims she loves creating songs. Music is her favourite way to feel anything.
