Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka, who was born in Minsk (the capital of Belarus) was the daughter of Sergey. Sergey the father of her (who died in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. Over the course of her career, she's won twelve WTA singles titles. One of them was the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. For doubles she's extremely skilled. She has won two Majors alongside Elise Mertens The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Together with the Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams had achieved this achievement. In January 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. On the 23rd of August 2021, she rose up to number two in the ranking. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February 2021 it was possible to climb up the rankings to claim the first position on the list of that particular specialty. She was coached by former Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the season in 2019 and at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann played a short stint as her partner from the month of August to September. She has been trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
